Drumsticks are a classic of barbecues everywhere and a really underappreciated cut. They take amazingly to marinades and can be slow cooked till meltingly tender. Great value and flavour packed drumsticks have a great bone to meat ratio that adds flavour from the top to the bottom. Our hard working chickens legs are full of collagen and nutrients from a life in the field so are packed with health benefits.

Cooking notes

To barbecue your chicken drumsticks start by marinading them the night before. We make a marinade by bringing to the boil brown sugar, tomato paste, garlic, mustard and soy sauce. Cool it down and then coat your drumsticks in the fridge overnight. Preheat your charcoal and when the coals are just cooling to a medium high heat, add the drumsticks and turn regularly till caramelised and cooked through.
