"The best beef I have ever cooked at home."
I've been cooking seriously for twenty years and I've never tasted beef like this. The dry-aged ribeye is extraordinary, a completely different product to anything available in a supermarket. The marbling, the depth of flavour, the texture. My guests were speechless.

"The thawing plate alone is worth signing up for."
I know that sounds like a strange thing to say, but the Herd thawing plate is genuinely the most useful kitchen object I've received in years. It works exactly as described, and the meat it defrosts is exceptional. The whole package feels considered and premium.

I grew up in Yorkshire and I know what good lamb tastes like. The Swaledale lamb from Herd is the best I've had since childhood: that distinctive, slightly gamey, deeply flavoured meat that you simply cannot get from a supermarket. The rack of lamb recipe is now a permanent fixture in my kitchen.

"Exceptional quality, minor delivery hiccup."
